WOW! Week 32 is here already… It is going WAY too fast for me, there is still so much that needs to be done for olivia’s arrival. My body is so worn out that I don’t have the strength sometimes to do anything, almost like my muscles don’t want to give strength and its frustrating at times because I want to take care of things but my body won’t let me.
Its truly funny when people say that your pregnancies will be different, They were not lying, because when I was pregnant with my twins I had A LOT of energy and would walk 1 to 2 miles almost every day, to the point where I went into labor early because of that. NOW… I still work out, get adjusted, massages and that’s all I do, and when I do work out its between 15-30 mins depending on the day and how I’m feeling.
Here is a picture of me at the hospital at 32 weeks when I had my twins, I had to stay at the hospital until I was about 34 weeks before giving birth. I looked like a house, You can live and pay a mortgage under my hospital gown I was so big!
But I am taking it easy this time and I am listening to my body, My goal is to reach 40 weeks and I’m still staying fit! At this time Olivia is the size of a small melon and is gaining a pound every week!
Here is a video on the baby’s development from 31 to 34 weeks!
I pray for my baby’s skin. Help it to grow soft and beautiful, the way you design a baby’s skin is to be. And because You said to ask for what we want, I’m asking You to protect my baby from getting any bad skin disorders, diseases, anything that may harm her in any way, but to Protect her from getting infant acne, cradle cap, jaundice and diaper rashes. Lord, I know those are common skin conditions, but based on Your Word that tells us You care for each and every detail of our lives, I pray that You will protect my baby from those things. Give me wisdom and knowledge to do the right things to protect her skin. Help me know which foods and products to avoid so that I can help my child. Help me be a good parent and give her all the care she needs.
But Lord, even more importantly, I pray that You will fill my child’s heart and life with joy. Give her the joy of the Lord and help her to find inner strength as a result of that joy. In all situations, let the joy of the Lord be in her heart. And Lord, help me to be a role model of joy in my home. Help me bring a spirit of joy into our house and every where we go.
I love You Lord, because you are good, and because You are all-powerful and ever present. Thank You for caring about every detail of my life. I know You are never too busy to hear my prayers, because you are GOD, and You can do all things. You delight in giving good gifts to Your children. You care for us, and I receive that.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
