Prayer for Week 35…
This week I want to pray a blessing over my family and myself, as well as olivia, as she and I make preparations and get ready for her birth.
But Before I get into that, Here are some of the updates I’ve been going through during this week pregnancy.
Everything is pretty much the same… less energy, I hardly sleep, I eat a lot, I’m still execerising, but this week hasn’t been too bad, I’ve had good days where I’ve had the energy to get errands done. Other days is like I can’t even move or even remember my name!
I had my appointment with the doctor recently which went GREAT! I have my appointments at a military hospital and going there is NEVER glamrous but at this recent appointment, everything went smooth, I walked right in, doctor check in with me to make sure I was ok, made sure olivia was position right, and everything was perfect.
That HARDLY ever happens at a military hospital: Parking sucks, you have to wait like 30mins to 1hour even though you have an appointment, receptionist sometimes don’t know what their doing and get rude with you, Its awful but I LOVE my OB, He answered my questions, made me laugh and is very supportive of my birth plan.
Other than my wonderful doctor’s appointment, I also went to get myself a spa treatment. **(This is a TMI (Too much information) moment if you are not comfortable with it, you can go right into the prayer!)**
I’m excited I had the opportunity to pamper myself. I got a pedicure, eyebrows and I went and had a brazilian wax done, which was great!

Dear Lord Jesus,
I thank You for giving me strength through out this pregnancy thus far. To take care of my children, get things done and helping me to take care of Olivia.
Lord, You know each and every moment, the things my family and I go through. So, I pray that Your Holy Spirit would come right now into the place where I will have my baby. Let it be a peaceful, stress free, happy atmosphere.
Jesus, I pray that You will bless my family with joy and gladness as we all prepare for this baby’s birth. Help me to remember what I learned in birth classes and what I’ve read. Help me remember the Scriptures that apply to me during labor, Make your Word a living testament to Olivia, myself and my family.
Father, Bless my husband, too, and help him to be the strong support that I need during this season in our lives together, bless Olivia’s sisters and brother with love and gladness, during this time in their lives.
Help me get through these last weeks with a minimal amount of discomfort. Help me sleep through the night in peace. Grant me Strength in preparation for the wonderful event of olivia’s birth. Give me a quick and manageable delivery, and help this baby to be healthy and perfect in every way.
In Jesus’ wonderful name I pray. Amen.
