What does it mean to have moisturize skin

Moisturizers are complex mixtures of agents specially designed to make your skin softer and more pliable, by increasing the skin’s water content. Our bodies naturally moisturisers Our skin. After doing research on “Do we really need to moisturize our skin?” I came across a website from Dr. Hauschka’s website, and here’s what he said: “While you sleep your skin is actually hard at work regenerating itself, balancing oil production and expelling impurities.

Regular application of night creams interferes with these essential tasks, and over time skin becomes less able to care for itself. Covering the skin with moisturizer 24 hours a day sends a signal to sebaceous glands to cut down on moisture production, resulting in even drier skin that becomes dependent on moisturizing products just to appear “normal.”

Moisturize

After reading this, from my personal experience of having SUPER dry skin to the point where I’m scratching all the time. Dr. Hauschka’s opinion is not for everyone because I know that I NEED to moisture my skin 24 hours a day. moisturizers are made to prevent and treat dry skin, sensitive skin and improve skin tone and texture and even heal imperfections. This is possible when finding the RIGHT moisturizer. moisturizers in the store made by these companies have ingredients that will dry up your skin, causing the consumer buying these products, to have dry skin that becomes dependent on moisturizing products just to appear “normal.”

How do we choose the right moisturizer for our skin:

** First we need to understand our skin type:

Normal or combination:
Normal skin is not too dry and not too oily.
Combination skin type can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin).
-Dry or Oily Skin:
Dry- When exposed to drying factors, skin can crack, peel, or become itchy, irritated, or inflamed. If your skin is very dry, it can become rough and scaly, especially on the backs of your hands, arms, and legs.
Oily- Oily skin can change depending upon the time of year or the weather. Oily skin can be caused or made worse by Stress, puberty other hormonal imbalances

Natural ingredients such as essential oils work best. An essential oil is a concentrated liquid containing aroma compounds from plants, they are simply the “oil of” the plant. An oil is “essential” in the sense that it carries a distinctive scent, or essence, of the plant.

Lavender essential oil is a VERY popular oil that works in so many different areas such as: needs, emotional, physical and even spiritual health. Lavender has been said to have properties that help in dry, oily, and even eczema skin conditions.

** Try it and see if works! **
