Using a detergent that is formulated for sports clothing is actually logical. My family and I are VERY active people. We all do Jiu Jitsu, walk, go to the park run, play ball, etc. we get sweaty, dirty and not so huggable people and using a detergent that helps to kill germs, stickiness, It’s Eco-Friendly, hypoallergenic and makes it clean, I’m all about!
WIN Detergent is simultaneously introducing a larger bottle with an exciting new look and a new eco-friendly, dye-free, fragrance free option! The retail price of both versions of WIN will remain the same, so consumers get 50% more detergent for the same price. WIN Detergent is designed to remove sweat, oil, and odors from technical athletic/sports apparel. WIN has not changed its bottle size since its introduction in 2006, but as the brand has matured WIN is now able to pass along their economies of scale to both retailers and consumers. The new bottle is 50% larger, with 32 oz. compared to the previous 21 oz., the retail price will remain at $9.95. That keeps WIN’s price below the important $10 impulse-buy threshold, making it worth a try for the consumer. The new bottle is more vibrant, helping to catch the eye of shoppers who may not know that sports detergent even exists. The new bottle also features a foil seal, so that it can be shipped without costly leaks or extra packaging.
WIN is also re-introducing its dye-free, fragrance free GREEN version. WIN GREEN is formulated to meet the standards for Design for the Environment certification by the EPA. It also meets the Yellow Rating on the Whole Foods Eco-Scale (certification pending). The formula is hypoallergenic and designed for users with sensitive skin and noses. Both versions of WIN are made in the USA, with a bottle made from 25% post consumer recycled plastics. WIN is septic safe, phosphate free, and can be used in high-efficiency washers. WIN does not do any animal testing. In the very small niche of sports detergent, WIN’s new look, larger bottle, and GREEN version looks to really capture the market’s attention. The new WIN bottle and WIN GREEN will launch this April and be available at sporting goods retailers; running, cycling, soccer and hockey shops; gyms and yoga studios; and through a limited number of select online dealers.
