James 1:5-8 (MSG)
“If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.”
This scripture really spoke to me this year in 2015. God has me stepping out on A LOT of BIG projects for me right now and “Stepping out on Faith” is really a HUGE deal for me. It’s almost like as if God is asking me: Do You REALLY Trust me? My answer is YES! YES! YES! and AMEN! God has really BIGGER and BETTER plans for me in this year 2015, but I have to step out.
I can not be moved by what is in front of me. I MUST walk by faith, God’s word and believe it. I have trusted God with my eternal life, why won’t I trust Him with my every day-to-day activities, PLUS, the vision He has given me to start this business, podcast and this book.
At times we can get distracted, so when things look like it’s not happening we freak out, and start praying “worry prayers” like the scripture says. I encourage those in the marketplace to keep (Fix) your eyes on Jesus, who can make your paths straight and walk with you there. This post is more for me then anyone else because it’s a reminder that God WILL NOT leave me, HE has brought me too far!
My question to you is… Do you pray “worry Prayers”
