So this year I’ve declared it to be my year of running 3 miles in 18 minutes. Slowly I’ve just been running constantly and now I’ve went from running 3 miles in an hour to 3 miles in 30 minutes. This was a journey, I’ve found that, some people tell me that it was impossible, I’m crazy, I’ve been questioned, why would I do it? I understand that for some, it may seem like a crazy goal. For me, I felt like I could do it, running, didn’t seem pleasant to me until I added this goal, which made it exciting and everyday I try to strive toward running. Its great exercise but I wanted to achieve something with it, other than losing weight, I wanted it to be a reachable goal for myself.
Along with running, I started weight lifting, I started with the Jamie Eason LiveFit Trainer program. My science-based approach combines exercise, nutrition, and supplementation for results that far exceed what any of those tools could produce on their own. Better yet, you’ll leave this program knowing how to pursue the fit lifestyle even without my guidance!”
With this program, I was able to see a difference in my body, I already started seeing my body begin to tone. The only issues I have with the program is 1-1/2 hr workouts are too long, having a toddler at home while I’m doing the work outs can get difficult, she sometimes get in the way, want to cuddle and typical child behavior, she is too cute and at times, I get through the workout when she does them with me.
I was in the mist of doing laundry and decided to take a picture and started exercising. I started out at 169lbs, and a size 12. You can hear more about my fitness journey here on the podcast.
I’m really proud of this picture, after doing this program, this is my results, I lost 9lbs and my size is now between 10 and 8, with just eating clean, whole foods. They are options to Carb cycle with this program, but I felt it was too much for me right now. I do need to drink a lot more water, I don’t drink enough. It is a work in progress, I am doing my best to drink a gallon of water everyday.
My goals are still to run in 3 miles in 18 minutes, drink a gallon of water everyday and get abs, this is my goal for 2015, health wise. I know, that it takes baby steps and one step at a time.
