I have twins that are almost 14 years old and their birthday is coming up soon, near christmas. Thinking of creative gifts for that special, creative child can be challenging, especially when its something expensive. I’m always on the look out for creative gifts that are different and speaks to their creative side.
My daughter is that creative child and she LOVES to draw. She will draw for hours if I let her. She will not do her chorus, will stay up for hours drawing and even though I want to cultivate that creative side of her, its hard to dance/balance between discipline and helping her creative side.
recently I was blessed with the opportunity to review three Art Journals by Ellie Claire.
These arts Journals are so beautiful and easy to get into drawing. I do not know how to draw but my daughters does (she obviously doesn’t get it from me) it MUST be her father, He can draw a lot better than I can.
Not only does this speak to her creative side of drawing but developing her love for God, Jesus and the bible. I’m always on the look out to incorporate the bible into their lives as creatively as possible to help them in their walk and Journey with God.
All 3 of the art Journals all have scripture for her to write and while she’s writing and drawing she’s memorizing scripture. Which I LOVE, while she is doing what she loves drawing, she is memorizing scripture on her own. While having fun.
I wanted to share some ideas on how to get creative gifts for the special child in your life and 7 more ways and resources to help develop the LOVE of God in your kids. As a parent teaching my kids about Jesus, the bible and God can be overwhelming. Not knowing ways and even resources to help get us started. I”m here to show you easy steps to get started and some resources that will help in your process in teaching your children the way they should go and when they grow old they will depart (Proverbs 22:6).
