This will be the last episode for a few months. A Purpose Driven Wife Podcast will be on hold, for a few months. My family and I will be moving from California to North Carolina. It is bitter-sweet for me during this season, because I’ve met and have grown so much here and have such a beautiful and wonderful church family. I’m thankful for deployments!
Every year in November everyone talks about what they are thankful for each day. Today I am thankful for deployments. My husband has been in the military for about 13 years, been married for about 8 years and been through 5 to 6 deployments since being married. I’m not new to deployments and the struggles military spouses go through. The hurt and pain I feel every time I hear: “Babe, I’m deploying…” is new every time. But through the years, my husband and I have learned through struggles, pain and hurt that deployments can cause, has made us into better individuals, closer and much stronger as a married couple.
