The book reframe was a great read. I love how personal it was, when the author shared a lot of his testimony and where the book came from. I learned through hard battles that God will never leave me or forsake me. It was through hard times where I was able to develop my prayer life, my bible reading and learning more about Him. It was through the hard times and battles, where I developed my relationship with God and wanted it to be more consistent. It was through those experiences where I want to share that with my children and have them experience the same thing without having to go through the whole struggle. Love our Vets answers more than 60 heartfelt questions, providing down-to-earth wisdom and much-needed tips for taking care of yourself. The author Welby O’Brien shares as a counselor and from her personal experience of living with a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD, Welby are caught in the wake of the trauma. This book addresses a broad spectrum of issues and concerns and offers realistic wisdom from a wide variety of individuals who share from real hearts and lives. She has a masters degree in counseling from Portland state university and a teaching degree from Biola university. Her most important qualification is that she is married to a veteran with PTSD. None like God- 10 ways God is different from us
Now its weird for me to write that GOD is different from me, because, in my mind, God is God, there is no comparison to me being God. After reading this book, I realize, in me living my life I sometimes, try to control things like I’m God and I’m not. The struggles of a military child
This is the hardest post for me to write but sharing my heart helps. If you are new to my blog, I’m a military spouse, married to a marine, we have three children together, (Tween) boy and girl twins and our “Semi newest addition” 2 almost 3-year-old baby girl. A New Season I’ve been a parent now for over 10+ years and I’m entering into a new season of growth as a parent. Crash the Chatterbox book review
When I read this book: Crash the Chatterbox (Hearing God’s voice above all others) I was super excited to learn really how to listen to God’s voice and not constantly listen to negative thoughts or the people I come across. I’m an entrepreneur and I quickly discovered that not everyone else will be as excited as you about your million dollar idea. You HAVE to have tools in your belt to cancel out those thoughts and negative naysayers.
