8 simple tools for raising healthy, thriving military kids

I received this book for review all opinions are 100% honest and my own. I’m all about simple, add a game plan and you got my attention. I’m a busy entrepreneur mom of three beautiful children, that I love dearly. Living a lifestyle that is not very predictable, can be challenging at times for the children. My husband being in the Marine Corps, deploying and movie every 2 to 3 years to different locations can be stressful and tiring for military children growing up in an unstable environment. So have tools in my back pocket to help with the crazy demands of a military lifestyle, I know will make life easier all around. I have eleven, going on thirty-three years old, boy and girl twins and think they know-it-all, want [Continue Reading…]

How to start a bible study with your children

In my years of growing up in my mother’s house, I didn’t go church or learn about God until later in life. I never really heard of people doing bible study at home with their family or children until I started going to church regularly. Even then, I still didn’t know how to start one. I really just depended on the Sunday school teacher, at my church, to teach my kids the bible and if my kids had questions, I would gladly answer them. I’ve always wanted to do it but I’ve always felt inadequate to teach my children because I was learning myself. I felt like what CAN I teach my kids, when I barely knew the bible. My husband was always working and deploying, so it was hard [Continue Reading…]

Do I really want to cloth diaper?

Do I really want to cloth diaper?

A friend of mine let me know she had some cloth dipaers I can start with and this is the stash she had, plus the Infant Carrier. When I had my twins the infant carrier was such a life saver for us that I know I HAD to get another for this pregnancy. I want to start using cloth diapers because this will be our last pregnancy and I want to at least try it out before completely dismissing the idea of cloth diapering. I will admit that I was one of those parents that dismissed the idea just by hearing the words cloth diaper without trying it. When I first heard about it, I thought: ” This will be a lot of work…” ” Who wants to mess with [Continue Reading…]
